Upon greet this year its 30th anniversary, we, Japan-Australia Society of Sasebo, gave a goodwill visit for the purpose of information exchange of Japanese culture to Coffs Harbour City, the sister city of Sasebo city.
We planted tree at “Sasebo Garden” in Coffs Harbour, and carried out the exchange program with Australia-Japan Sociery of Coffs Harbour and Coffs Harbour RC.
The Children’s Day has been held annually at “Sasebo Garden” in Coffs Harbour on May 5th since we gifted “Koinobori (carp streamers)” to Australia-Japan Sociery of Coffs Harbour on our previous visit. This time, we were honored to donate 23 “Koinobori”.

On this goodwill visit, we had opportunity to have feelings of closeness to Australian people and engage in information exchanges of life environment, family and education each other. We deeply appreciated public administration and Australia-Japan Society of Coffs Harbour for making an arrangement to have communication with them.
16 teachers of ten sister schools associated with the Good Samarian in Australia visited Seiwa High School in September 26th, 2013.
The welcome ceremony was held in the first period of school at hall.
A school principal and president of the student council gave welcoming speech, introduced Australian teachers and High School Chorus Club showed off songs for them.
For the present exchange, Seiwa High School received painting of Aborigine from Australian teachers and Seiwa High School presented its Original badge to them.
Seiwa Girls junior high school students in the 9th grade visited Australia for school excursion from March 6th (Wed) to 12th (Tue), 2013. They visited their sister school and the students spent at their host family respectively with valuable experiences.
