Letter from Ms. Patricia Degens on May 14th , 2017
We had a letter from Ms. Patricia on Children’s Day took place in Australia.

Dear Kaneko san, we had a wonderful Children's Day last Sunday in warm autumn weather. Here are some photos. The Koi Society which organises it hopes someone can come from Sasebo next year, on Sunday 6th May, as it will be the 30th anniversary of the sister city realtionship.
Hoping you are all well,
Yours sincerely,
Patricia

The Children’s Day has been held annually at “Japanese Garden” in Coffs Harbour on May 5th since we gifted “Koinobori (carp streamers)” to Australia-Japan Sociery of Coffs Harbour on our visit of 2012.

Picture of School Excursion (Language Training Program) in The 9th Trade at Australia in 2017

Seiwa Girls junior high school students in the 9th grade visited Australia for school excursion from March 2nd (Thu) to 7th (Tue), 2017. They visited Mount St. Benedict College, a sister-school of Seiwa, in Sydney, and spent valuable time with their host families. Accompanying teachers said that it was indeed a pleasure for us to look at hanging a panel introducing our school at Mount St. Benedict College.
